Shift to Nature sources products from Designers and Labels who strive to produce Ethical, Eco, Sustainable products. Brands featured on Shift to Nature create beautiful items from Global Organic Textile Standard Certified Organic Cotton (GOTS) and Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified Bamboo. Featured also are designers committed to using sustainable natural fabrics such as Hemp and Merino Wool and new eco-fibres such as Lenzig TENCEL. Some labels go beyond these to include certification by Fair Trade, IVN Best as well as their own high environmental and social production standards. In the production process our designers and manufacturers strive for chemical free and non-toxic textile growth and production.

The aim of this standard is to ensure organic status from the harvesting of the raw materials, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing up to labelling in order to provide assurance and natural benefits to the consumer. We will source the Designer’s GOTS Licence number or certificate of orgin for your confidence. Shift to Nature sells Organic Cotton products that are GOTS Certified!
Merino used by FROM Clothing UK is sourced from certified merino sheep farms that adhere to a no-mulesing policy for the health and welfare of the sheep. Mulesing involves cutting the sheep for more information on this unethical and hurtful practice go to Animals Australia Website.
Natural wool is soft and the thermo properties unique to Merino wool makes it an All weather fabric - Warm in Winter, Cool in Summer! Lenzig Tencel - Eucalyptus Yes Eucalyptus!

This certification is very important for Bamboo clothes to ensure a safe and safely manufacturerd product. Particularly important in the Brands 02Wear Bamboo Basics, GreenEst and the Bed linen manufacturers. The Oeko-Tex standard 100 comprehensively addresses the human ecology component of textile products. It evaluates and screens for any harmful substances present within processed textiles, which are intended to come into contact with consumers. We aim to provide the Designer’s Oeko-Tex license number where possible. Shift to Nature believes that the textiles you use should not be harmful to your body!

Our Bed Linen Manufacturer in Germany is FairTrade certified as is clothing brands Neutral.com from Denmark, and Do U speak Green?from India. Fairtrade is about better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers all over the world. By requiring companies to pay sustainable prices (which must never fall lower than the market price).
