Shift to Nature brings Scarves from luxury and ethical NYC based designer A Peace Treaty.

The Tavla collection drapes beautifully, soft and luxurious with a story from the designers reflection and inspiration from the design, architecture, art and culture of the Turkish Ottoman Empire. Items that were traded amongst travelling writers and artists were Marbelised paper, while backgammon was played on intricately carved boards. The designs have been modernised and flickering colour added for this Tavla collection.

The scarves of TAVLA are coloured with a palette of lively neons and vintage feminine tints, representing art from both the ancient and modern worlds. These luxurious silk and modal-silk textiles are printed with abstract geometric patterns, hypnotic marbleized repetitions, and classic Turkish designs. Each piece, screenprinted by hand in artisan co-ops of West Bengal, is a daring composition in which intricate patterns and contrasting colors vibrantly come to life.
