Shift to Nature brings Autumn Scarves from luxury and ethical NYC based designer A Peace Treaty.

Drapes beautifully, soft and luxurious with a story from the designers reflection and inspiration for the Summer from the design, architecture, art and culture of 1960s Libya, with its Italian influence, Jewish and Muslim heritage. Lush and fluttering silks and cottons are decorated with designs imaging mosaics in 1960s sherbet tones.

This range called Villa Bambola was created in artisan workshops in India where the silk screening designs are stencil cut, and then resist-dye indigo and mud wood block printed. A Peace Treaty designers also worked with artisans across the US in reviving traditional methods of the Rocky Mountain art of hand painting silk scarves. A Peace Treaty pay higher than fair-trade ranges in all projects of creating these exquisite items.

A Peace Treaty Storylines: The brand was created in 2008 as a personal and inspirational designer 'peace treaty' between its founders to develop a luxurious adventurous global statements in textile and jewellery design while reviving and preserving age-old handmade customs of creation. Evoking these processes into the contemporary fashion space, A Peace Treaty  works with artisan workshops over ten countries, where their cultural and travelled designs are woven and crafted by hand with artistry, detail, ethical care, and respect for legacy of craftsmanship still found in the world.
